The Ensō (円相, "circular form") is a fundamental symbol in Zen Buddhism, representing enlightenment, the universe, and the beauty of imperfection. It's a hand-drawn circle, usually created in one continuous, uninhibited brushstroke, symbolizing a moment of complete freedom and the "no-mind" state.
