My Story

unnamed.png

I’m a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist and a qualified Wild Therapist, and I bring depth, creativity, and heart to the work I do. My approach is shaped not only by years of training but by my own experience of healing. I know what it’s like to feel lost and to find your way back.

It’s from that place of empathy, acceptance, and grounded presence that I meet my clients.

My path into psychotherapy came through personal transformation. After years of trying to manage my struggles through different treatments, it was only through deep relational work that I began to understand myself in a more meaningful way.

That experience changed everything, and it’s what I now offer to others, whether you’re facing anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, or simply feeling a pull toward something deeper.

My approach is relational, non-judgmental, and attuned. I don’t see people as a set of symptoms to fix, but as whole, evolving human beings. I draw on psychodynamic, body-based, and creative methods to support you in uncovering and living more authentically.

Alongside indoor sessions, I also offer Wild Therapy sessions held outdoors, where the natural world becomes part of the therapeutic process. Nature can provide a sense of holding, perspective, and connection that’s often hard to access within four walls.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: we heal in the presence of trust, safety, and compassion. Whether you’re in crisis or simply ready for change, you’re welcome just as you are.

My Education and Experience

Alongside my academic training, I bring seven years of experience working in private practice, and I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I’m also a qualified Wild Therapist, integrating nature-based work into my practice to support deeper connection, grounding, and healing beyond the therapy room.

My training is in MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy with Middlesex University, alongside a Professional Diploma through the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC). I’m currently in the final stages of gaining full accreditation, expected in 2025.

The Ensō (円相, "circular form") is a fundamental symbol in Zen Buddhism, representing enlightenment, the universe, and the beauty of imperfection. It's a hand-drawn circle, usually created in one continuous, uninhibited brushstroke, symbolizing a moment of complete freedom and the "no-mind" state.
